This is the giant bat in front of Yankee Stadium in the final stage of production and being prepared for transport. The Bat is a 120-foot high boiler stack located outside Yankee Stadium, adjacent to Gate 4. It is a popular pregame meeting place today.
This is the bat in transit; we split our trailer in half and used the bat itself as part of the trailer for transport, as it is too long to place on any extendable trailer at time of this historical move.

Two cranes were used to upright this enormous icon onto its well anchored pedestal, the lattice boom crane had over one hundred and fifty foot of boom, and had a maximum capacity over two hundred tons.
